MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING
NOVEMBER 5, 2020
THE MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER WITH THE FOLLOWING PRESENT : TRUSTEES – JOHN LITTLE, JOSEPH OWENS AND JONATHAN WARD. ROAD SUPERVISOR – TOM WITTS, ROADMAN – RICHARD RENNIE AND FISCAL OFFICER – BRUCE DOWNES.
THE FOLLOWING BILLS- SEE ATTACHED PAYMENT LISTING REPORT – WERE PRESENTED AND APPROVED FOR PAYMENT.
J. WARD MOVED AND J. LITTLE SECONDED TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE OCTOBER 15, 2020 REGULAR MEETING AND THE OCTOBER 26, 2020 SPECIAL MEETING ( CARES ACT FUND EXPENDITURES). ALL IN FAVOR, MOTION PASSED.
ROAD SUPERVISOR’S REPORT – JUNE RD AND SEVERAL OTHERS HAVE BEEN BERMED WITH DITCHING ON HALO RD NEAR THE GEISER PROPERTY. BRUSH CUT AND REMOVED ON HERITAGE RD AND OTHERS. MAINTENANCE WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED ON THE 1996 INTERNATIONAL TRUCK,THE NEW HOLLAND T6050 TRACTOR AND THE 2007 PETERBILT TANKER.VARIOUS ROADS RECEIVED COLD PATCH AND THE TAR BUGGY WITH LIMESTONE ON OTHERS TO FILL POTHOLES.
ROADMAN’S REPORT- NEED TO CHECK WITH THE BUREAU OF MOTOR VEHICLES FOR A REPLACEMENT LICENSE PLATE FOR THE 2014 FORD F-550 TRUCK. THE 2014 F-550 TRUCK SEEMS TO HAVE A FLUID LEAK AND IT WAS SUGGESTED TO CHECK THE TRANSMISSION PAN AND GASKET AND IF NEEDED SENT IN FOR REPAIR.
FISCAL OFFICER’S REPORT – THE MAGNOLIA VOL FIRE DEPT, DELLROY VOL FIRE DEPT AND THE MOHAWK VALLEY FIRE DISTRICT WILL BE CONTACTED TO DETERMINE IF THERE ARE NEEDS THAT CAN BE FUNDED WITH THE CARES ACT FUNDS. ATTORNEY GREG BECK WILL BE CONTACTED FOR AN OPINION(S).
J. LITTLE MOVED AND J. OWENS SECONDED TO HAVE THE BANK OF MAGNOLIA AS THE DEPOSITORY OF FUNDS FOR ROSE TOWNSHIP FOR THE YEAR OF 2021. ALL IN FAVOR, MOTION PASSED.
J. OWENS MOVED AND J. WARD SECONDED TO APPROVE THE FOLLOWING INCREASES IN THE REVENUE ACCOUNTS AND APPROPRIATION ACCOUNTS DUE TO ADDITIONAL FUNDS RECEIVED FROM LOCAL GOVERNMENT DISTRIBUTION, CORONAVIRUS RELIEF FUNDS AND INTEREST : REVENUE ACCOUNTS – 1000-532-0000 – $2699.27, 2272-599-0000 – $42,342.00 AND 2272-701-0000 – $0.18 – APPROPRIATION ACCOUNTS – 1000-110-599-0000 – $2699.27, 2272-110-311-0000 – $5000.00 AND 2272-110-790-0000 – $37,342.18. ALL IN FAVOR, MOTION PASSED.
J. LITTLE MOVED AND J. WARD SECONDED TO PURCHASE WITH CARES ACT FUNDS AN AIR PURIFICATION SYSTEM FOR THE TOWNSHIP OFFICE. ALL IN FAVOR, MOTION PASSED.
J. WARD MOVED AND J. LITTLE SECONDED TO PURCHASE WITH CARES ACT FUNDS PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT TO ASSEMBLE 150 PACKETS FOR DISTRIBUTION TO TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS. ALL IN FAVOR, MOTION PASSED.
J. OWENS MOVED AND J. WARD SECONDED TO PAY $726.00 WITH CARES ACT FUNDS TO BAKER DUBLIKAR FOR LEGAL SERVICES REGARDING EXPENDITURES OF CARES ACT FUNDS BY ATTORNEY GREGORY BECK.ALL IN FAVOR, MOTION PASSED.
AS THERE WAS NOTHING FURTHER TO COME BEFORE THE BOARD THE MEETING WAS ADJOURNED AT 7:55 PM ON A MOTION BY J. OWENS AND SECONDED BY J. LITTLE. ALL IN FAVOR, MOTION PASSED.
