THE MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER WITH THE FOLLOWING PRESENT : TRUSTEES –
MICHAEL REED, ANDREW IRWIN, JOHN LITTLE AND FISCAL OFFICER – BRUCE DOWNES.
J. LITTLE MOVED AND M. REED SECONDED TO APPROVE THE MINUTES FROM THE
MEETING OF 12-19-2024 AS CORRECTED. ALL IN FAVOR, MOTION PASSED.
A. IRWIN MOVED AND M. REED SECONDED TO APPROVE THE FOLLOWING BILLS – SEE
ATTACHED PAYMENT LISTING REPORT FOR 12-28-2024 – THAT WERE PRESENTED FOR
PAYMENT. ALL IN FAVOR, MOTION PASSED.
FISCAL OFFICER’S REPORT – DISCUSSED WITH THE BOARD THE END OF YEAR BALANCES
IN ALL FUNDS. ALSO REVIEWED THE AMOUNTS TO BE ALLOCATED ON THE 2025 FIRE
LEVY CONTRACT PAYMENTS.

M. REED MOVED AND A. IRWIN SECONDED TO REMAIN WITH SEDGWICK MANAGED
CARE OHIO FOR 2025 TO HANDLE ANY WORKER’S COMPENSATION CLAIMS FOR THE
TOWNSHIP. ALL IN FAVOR, MOTION PASSED.
J. LITTLE MOVED AND A. IRWIN SECONDED TO APPOINT RICHARD P. (PAUL) EWING AS
THE ROSE TOWNSHIP REPRESENTATIVE TO THE QUAD AMBULANCE BOARD FOR 2025.
ALL IN FAVOR, MOTION PASSED.
A. IRWIN MOVED AND M. REED SECONDED TO SET THE BOARD POLICY FOR 2025 THAT
REGULAR BLANKET CERTIFICATES FOR THE TOWNSHIP WOULD BE VALID FOR NINETY
(90) DAYS FROM THE DATE OF ISSUE. ALL IN FAVOR, MOTION PASSED.
M. REED REPORTED ON THE REPAIRS MADE ON STAFF RD WERE DONE USING THE
TRACTOR AND BLADE AND APPLYING LIMESTONE AND IT WAS SATISFACTORY.
A. IRWIN INSPECTED JUNE RD CONCERNING THE ROAD CONDITIONS THAT WERE
REPORTED AT THE LAST MEETING.
J. LITTLE UPDATED ABOUT THE IMPERIAL RD SR 542 INTERSECTION WHERE VEHICLES
ENTER AND EXIT THE PHOENIX STONE BUSINESS. REPAIRS WILL BE MADE IN THE
SPRING OF 2025. ALSO NOTED THAT ODOT WANTS SR 542 TO BE KEPT CLEAN. THE 2024
CAB AND CHASIS HAS BEEN PICKED UP FROM LOUDON MOTORS AND WILL BE
TRANSPORTED TO ACE EQUIPMENT IN ZANESVILLE, OH THE WEEK OF DEC 30. THE 1996
INT TRUCK WILL BE SENT TO RIGHT REPAIR FOR REPAIR OF A FRONT SPRING LEAF.
AS THERE WAS NOTHING FURTHER TO COME BEFORE THE BOARD THE MEETING WAS
ADJOURNED AT 8:50 AM ON A MOTION BY M. REED AND SECONDED BY A. IRWIN. ALL IN
FAVOR, MOTION PASSED.
